Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan is reportely being sued after a fellow New York clubgoer claimed the actress temporarily stole her mink coat.

Student Masha Markova had been sitting near Lindsay at 1Oak in Manhattan in January went the fur went missing - only to show up on Lindsay’s shoulders.

A fortnight after the incident, Masha stumbled upon a picture of Lindsay leaving the club in the coat even though she had entered in a simple black coat: “I was on the phone to my grandmother when I flipped through a magazine, saw the picture and said, ‘I need to call you back’. It was my coat. No doubt!”

Masha found more images of the star in the coat and started legal proceedings - only to be contacted by 1Oak staff: “They just said, ‘We’re going to bring you something.’ They were very discreet, never mentioned a name or even the word ‘coat.’”

Masha claims the coat, worth an estimated $11,000, was returned smelling of alcohol and cigarettes, with a torn lining.

She is now suing Lindsay for over $10,000 for “unauthorised three-week rental” of the garment.

She added: “I don’t see how it could have been an accident.”
