Amy Winehouse has been arrested in connection with alleged possession of illegal drugs according to her spokesperson.

The rep confirmed: “Amy Winehouse voluntarily attended a London police station today by appointment.”

“She was arrested in order to be interviewed and is cooperating fully with inquiries. The interview relates to a video handed to police earlier this year.”

Last month, Amy was arrested following the assault of a man at the end of a night out. She was held at Holborn Police Station overnight as police deemed she was not in a fit state to be questioned when she arrived at the station. She was given a formal caution and released the following morning after admitting slapping the man.
