Pete Doherty: I’m going to try to keep it together now
Pete Doherty has said he’s going to try to stay out of jail in the future because his last stint in prison was far from fun.
The Babyshambles frontman was released from HMP Wormwood Scrubs in West London on Tuesday morning after serving 29 days of a 14 week sentence. He was reportedly separated from most of the other inmates for his own safety, particularly when an apparent plot to attack him was uncovered.
After his release, he said: “Prison was hard. I don’t want to think about it too much now I’m free. I’ve been dreaming of this day. I was in solitary confinement for most of it.
“I’m going to try to keep it together.”
He previously spent time in jail in 2003 and early 2006, on burgulary and drugs charges respectively.
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
