Paris Hilton has been seen out and about sporting a new ring, a double banded diamond, on her wedding ring finger, prompting questions about a proposal from Benji Madden.

However, she denies this, saying that although the ring is a gift from Benji: “It’s just a present. He’s sweet.”

That said, the couple have talked about marriage. Hilton said, “We want to stay together forever. I wouldn’t do a Vegas [wedding]. I don’t know where or when but I do want it to be romantic.”

Talking about her best friend Nicole Richie, Hilton makes no secret of her desire to start a family with Benji: “Nicole is our first friend to have a baby … Seeing Harlow, it really makes me want one. I’ve always wanted to have a baby.

“I’m definitely ‘Aunt Paris.’”

And from his babysitting adventures, she adds: “I can tell [Benji]’s gonna be an incredible father. He loves babies.”

Although Hilton, 26, has only been going out with the Good Charlotte singer for four months, she says her life has completely changed already, and for the better: “When I was younger I loved to go out, but now that I’m in a really great relationship it’s so much more fun to stay at home. We don’t really like to go out. We have game night, friends come over and play Monopoly. It’s chill.”

“I’ve grown up a lot. I’m at peace. He’s changed my life in every way. I’m happy.”

Paris says she loves Benji so much that she’s not remotely bothered by his unconventional look: “My dad said you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. He doesn’t act at all like someone who has tattoos everywhere! I love him so much that I don’t pay attention. I don’t even look at the tattoos any more.”
