sex and the cityAn exclusive star-studded Sex and the City party is lined up to start after the film’s big London premiere on 11th May, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The chosen venue, the Green Carnation club, can only hold 100 guests.

Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field will co-host the party with Lee Klabin, who designed the “midnight Moth” corset that Sarah Jessica Parker wears in the film.

Stars on the invite list are said to include Helena Bonham Carter, Emily Blunt, Mark Ronson, Mandy Moore and Claire Forlani.

There was tension between the stars throughout filming about everything from press coverage to wardrobe expenses and it seems unlikely these tensions will magically disappear now the filming is complete; it’s more likely the competition and sniping will extend to the red carpet.

As the cast members Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis continue to argue and bicker, it remains to be seen which of the cast members will be at the party!
