Nadine CoyleGirls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle is planning to expand her business empire to include a chain of candle shops.

The singer already owns a Mexican restaurant in her adopted hometown Los Angeles and properties in both California and Ireland - but hit upon the new business idea after seeing how many of her fellow celebrities go made for the latest scented wax.

She told the Mirror: “I’m so excited about it. LA’s the perfect place for it too as people love to get pampered.

“I’ve already got my brother-in-law to create the decor.

“He’s an artist and does amazing canvases so it will be a proper family business - and really personal. I’ve got my mum to run it while I’m away working with the band.

“I’ll also bring some candles to go in our dressing rooms to calm our nerves before the shows.”

But she insists that the new venture isn’t a sign the group is coming to an end: “There’s no way I’m quitting the band. The candle shop and my businesses are something else I love to do.

“I’m having such a laugh with the band. Where else can you get your hair and make-up done for free for hours on end, then you go on stage with a great bunch of girls and have a blast?”
