Gwyneth Paltrow on her “nightmare” pregnancies
Gwyneth Paltrow has added to rumours that she’s likely to expand her family by adopting a child after revealing she had “nightmare” pregnancies.
The Iron Man star gave birth to daughter Apple in 2004 and son Moses in 2006 but said recently: “I didn’t like being pregnant. I was so ill, everything disgusted me! I wasn’t able to eat or smell anything.
“It was a nightmare! I felt as if I was out of my own body. I was doing everything I had to do, but without any conviction - with tiredness and heaviness, like a zombie.
“I did not feel happy. Above all - I couldn’t see an end to it. I was very anxious, depressed. It was really hard.”
Last month Gwyneth revealed she had postpartum depression after the birth of Moses but didn’t know until she’d recovered from it.
