The couple, who announced their engagement last month, are rumoured to be marrying this weekend at a “top secret” location and a source at the magazine told TMZ that a deal has been signed for “well over” $1million for exclusive coverage of the event.

A spokesperson for the magazine added: “We’re thrilled that celebrities continue to choose People as the place to share their most intimate photos. We do not comment on specifics of any deals.”

The magazine recently landed exclusive pictures of Mariah Carey’s whirlwind wedding to Nick Cannon late last month and has also paid out for photo shoots with Nicole Richie and Jennifer Lopez and their new babies.
