Mariah and music producer Mark Sudack are said to have carried out an almost secret, low-key for almost four years before splitting earlier this year.

A source close to the producer, who worked with Mariah on her recent album ‘E=MC²’, told Us Weekly: “Everyone is scared to call him because no one knows what to say.

“He never thought she would go off and marry someone else. He’s heartbroken and shocked. [He] loved her so much.”

Mariah married Nick in the Bahamas on 30th April, just a month after meeting while filming a video for her forthcoming single ‘Bye Bye’.
