Mariah Carey plans lavish New York wedding celebration

mariah carey and nick cannon Mariah Carey is reportedly planning a third wedding celebration to take place in New York this summer.

Mariah married Nick Cannon in an intimate ceremony in the Bahamas late last month after a whirlwind romance and last week celebrated their union with friends at the Six Flags theme park in California. But a source has now claimed that Mariah still wants a big lavish wedding and, as well as their planned yearly celebration, they’re planning to renew their vows in a multimillion dollar event in the next few weeks.

The source told MSNBC.com: “[Mariah] wants over 2,000 guests and the budget will be well over $4 million and she’ll have at least 14 bridesmaids.

“It’s going to be held in New York City in the next six weeks. Picture a wedding on the scale of Liza Minnelli’s [to David Gest] and you’ll be right on track.”

Mariah is said to have initially planned an extravagant ceremony for their nuptials but backtracked on Nick’s request.

Well Nick You’ve got a lot of work to do your new honeybunny needs you more than ever, your like her guardian angel, you must protect her all the time. Now that your married you must go everwhere together. No more boys night out, that sounds like trouble because wifey is not there. Ouicy Jones and Puffy can wait! Mariah comes first because she’s more important. Love, huummmm, if your really in love you will always love that person all the days of your life.

Mariah Carey talks exclusively to MTV UK News about her ceremony…
MCC, Mariah Carey Cannon, reached out exclusively to MTV UK News to deny the rumours that she intends to spend $4 Million dollars (£2 million pounds) on a ceremony in New York to renew their wedding vows.

MTV UK News posted a story earlier on and in response Mariah had to set us straight “4 milly? On what Cake? Lol”.

Mariah referred to herself as MCC to mark her union and we’re guessing you’ll be hearing those initials a lot in the coming months.

Mrs CC also told us that she was over the moon when hubby Nick Cannon rented out an entire Six Flags Theme park in the states to surprise her! MCC went on to describe her man as a “Stone Smash”.
