Jessica AlbaJessica Alba’s secret wedding on Monday was reportedly as much news to her family as it was to the rest of us.

There were no guests at all at the courthouse ceremony when the Fantastic Four star married long-term boyfriend Cash Warren on Monday and when Us Weekly called her brother Josh Alba with the news yesterday, it was the first he’d heard of it.

He told the megazine: “My sister!? I’m going to have to call her!”

Jessica’s dad Mark told Latina magazine: “I think it’s good news for her. I’m glad for her. She’s a beautiful girl. I’m her dad and I’m happy for her no matter what happens.”

But the news shouldn’t be too surprising as the actress has previously made it clear she wouldn’t be into a big lavish event. Following her engagement to Cash earlier in the year, she said: “I am probably going to get my certificate at the city council, throw a big party for the family and that’s about it. Everyone I know hates weddings.”

Jessica and Cash are expecting their first child together next month.
