jessica alba and cash warrenJessica Alba’s friends have speculated that the actress’ sudden marriage this week was because of the couple’s soon-to-arrive baby.

Jessica married long-term boyfriend Cash Warren in a private ceremony in Beverly Hills on Monday, not even telling their families of their plans ahead of the event.

A source close to the couple told People magazine that Jessica is usually “very responsible” and “strategic” when it comes to her personal life so a serious change of heart must have provoked the sudden marriage: “She [used to feel] it would be okay to wait until after the baby was born to get married. But her traditional side must have really kicked in.”

“Cash is a wonderful guy [though]. And she really does love him.”

The couple got engaged late last year after announcing Jessica’s pregnancy. Their daughter is due next month.

Jessica’s brother Josh has hinted that the The Eye star will arrange a large scale wedding celebration, to allow friends and family to celebrate their union, later in the year.
