Naomi was spotted burying her head in her hands to stop the tears following on board P Diddy’s yacht in Cannes on Wednesday night, ahead of her 38th birthday yesterday.

A source told the Mirror: “Naomi was simply happy to see friends that she hadn’t seen for a long time.

“She doesn’t drink - she just had a great evening with lots of laughs.”

In related news, the supermodel may be set to receive a rather undesirable belated birthday present next week - in the shape of an official assault charge over her air rage incident next month.

Naomi is due to return for further questioning following the incident at Heathrow airport at the start of April and while it was initially said to be unlikely that she would be charged, the Daily Mail is reporting that there has been a change of heart and she will be charged after all.

Naomi was accused of physical and verbally abusing British Airways staff and arresting police officers after a luggage mix-up occured at the airport’s new Terminal 5 building. She is said to have been given a lifetime ban from the airline after the incident.
