Dina said recently: “She’s 21 years old. We all make mistakes.

“It’s not a blame game. It’s not her mum’s fault or her friends’ fault.

“It’s the general personal choices you make. And you have to be careful about the choices you make when you’re in the public eye.”

This weekend sees the anniversary of Lindsay’s first DUI arrest last summer, prompting her to check into rehab at Promises in Malibu. Less than two months later, she was arrested for a second driving offence and was given a day’s jail sentence, although she eventually only served 84 minutes.
