Video: Russia wins Eurovision
The Eurovision Song Contest took place last night but probably the least said about the UK entry, the better.
The event was won by Russian singer Dima Bilan with his Timbaland produced track ‘Believe’ - and I think he really does.
Do I Believe in his facial hair? No.

Would it not be fairer if every country’s song were sung in Esperanto?
Esperanto works! I learned it in my late teens, and I’ve used it in speech and writing in a dozen countries over recent years. As a planned auxiliary language, it is easier to learn and use than national tongues.
