kate hudsonIf last weekend’s dinner dates in Texas weren’t enough to confirm Kate Hudson’s new romance with Lance Armstrong, the couple made their relationship very clear during Dolce & Gabbana’s annual Cannes Film Festival party on Friday night.

Sources at the exclusive event report that the couple spent the evening in the VIP room at the Baoli Club kissing and dancing. One onlooker told Us Weekly: “They were just really into each other. They would look at each other in the eyes and then kiss on the lips.”

The couple managed to also spend some time talking to other celebrity guests at the event including Natalie Portman - but even then, they couldn’t take their hands off each other: “While they were chatting, I’d notice that Lance would have his hand on the small of Kate’s back, or his hand on top of hers.”

The couple are said to have got to know each other through Kate’s ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson. Kate and Owen split up earlier in the month. Lance has been linked to a number of socialites including Ashley Olsen since splitting from fiancee Sheryl Crow at the start of 2006.
