The women are said to be eating as little as possible and exercising to excess during the downtime on their Tangled Up tour.

A source told the Sunday Mirror: “All the girls seem to be competing with each other to see who can eat the least.

“It’s particularly bad with Cheryl and Sarah. If one has fruit instead of a meal, then so will the other.

“They are on the treadmill all the time. It’s because they want to look good in their skimpy outfits.”

Sarah was spotted looking particularly thin in Manchester yesterday, with one onlooker telling the newspaper: “She used to be really curvy and sexy, but now [with her blonde cropped hair] she looks more like the painter Andy Warhol.”
