Pussycat Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger: I’d love to duet with Amy Winehouse

Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger has said she’d love to record a duet with Amy Winehouse.

She’s quoted as saying recently: “I’d love to hook up with Amy. I’m not sure what she thinks of us.

“But I think we can make a sexy sound that will sell.”

Amy performed a supposedly make-or-break gig in Portugal on Friday night - but reports indicate it may have turned out to be the latter.

The Associated Press is reporting that the audience began to boo after she took to the stage considerably later than planned then blamed her cracking voice on a sore throat. The gig, her first major gig since leaving rehab earlier in the year, was said to have been an indicator for record bosses of whether or not they thought she would be capable of carrying out a US tour later this year.
