gillian andersonX Files star Gillian Anderson is reportedly pregnant with her third child.

The baby, due towards the end of the year, will be Gillian’s second child with boyfriend Mark Griffiths after son Oscar was born in November 2006. Gillian also has a 13 year old daughter Piper from a previous relationship.

A source close to the actress revealed yesterday: “Everyone is over the moon at the news. They wanted to have a second child before Oscar got much older and now their dream is coming true.”

A new X Files film The X-Files: I Want to Believe is due out this summer.
