ethan hawkeEthan Hawke is reportedly planning to marry fiancee Ryan Shawhughes before the arrival of the couple’s first child together later this month.

Ethan and Ryan, who first met when Ryan was the nanny to Ethan’s children with former wife Uma Thurman, were spotted applying for their marriage license in New York earlier this week.

An onlooker told the New York Post: “They looked really sweet.”

A source close to the actor added: “They want to get the marriage ceremony out of the way before the baby arrives but will have a bigger celebration for friends and family when everything has settled down again.”

Ethan has two children from his relationship with Uma, nine year old daughter Maya and six year old son Levon. The baby will be Ryan’s first child.
