Anne Heche has reached a financial settlement with estranged husband Coley Laffoon.

Court papers released after a hearing at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday show that the former Men In Trees actress has agreed to pay Laffoon a $275,000 lump sum, followed by monthly child support payments of $3,700 for his part of their shared custody of six year old son Homer.

Anne had previously been paying temporary support payments of $15,000 a month but last month told the court that she couldn’t afford to maintain those payments as well as her homes in Los Angeles & Vancouver and other expenses related to the boy, such as private schooling and childcare. The new arrangement sees Anne paying 75% of schooling costs and an equal share of “agreed-upon extracurricular activities”.

Anne and Coley separated early last year after marrying in 2001.
