Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding launches solo career with soundtrack song
Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding is reportedly planning a new solo project away from the girl group.
A source told the Mirror that the singer has recorded a track with the Filthy Dukes for the soundtrack of new forthcoming comedy Wild Child: “It is a really exciting project for Sarah to be involved with. She was chuffed to be approached and recognised as a singer in her own right.
“It’s a pretty cool album with some big names featured on it including Rihanna, Robbie Williams and Nelly Furtado, so it promises to be a springboard for other things.
“Sarah’s always maintained that she loves Girls Aloud and has no desire for the band to split - but that doesn’t mean she’s not willing to branch out.”
Sarah’s bandmate Cheryl Cole recorded her own solo track with Will.I.Am earlier in the year and Nadine Coyle is said to be preparing for a post-Aloud assault on the US.
