Tori Spelling gives birth to a baby girl

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott have become parents for the second time after welcoming a baby girl into the world yesterday.

Stella Doreen McDermott was delivered by Caesarian section at 3:13pm at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and weighed in at 6lbs 8oz.

A spokesperson confirmed the news yesterday, saying: “She’s here! She’s a healthy baby girl. Tori and baby are resting comfortably.”

The couple already have a one year old son Liam Aaron and before the birth, the Beverly Hills 90210 star said she was delighted to find out she was expecting a baby girl: “I’ve always wanted a little girl since I’m such a girly girly.

“I immediately started crying. I couldn’t believe it. I have my beautiful little boy and now I’ll have my little girl! It’s amazing.”
