Lily Allen allowed back into the US after 10 month visa ban
Lily Allen has finally been granted a US work visa after undergoing months of drugs tests.
Lily’s visa, which she needs to be able to perform in the country, was revoked last August over an assault incident - but according to the Mirror, the immigration officials were just as concerned about drug use after some cannabis was found on her tour bus in Canada at the star of the year.
A source told the newspaper: “Lily felt like Big Brother was constantly watching her - it was freaky.
“Lily had to have her pee regularly checked and then blood tests on top to prove she wasn’t on drugs before the US government would give her a working visa.
“She was terrified to be photographed anywhere that people may have been taking drugs in case she got linked to them.
“She even started staying in instead of going out clubbing, in case certain people got the wrong idea.”
After the paperwork was finally arranged last week, Lily flew to Los Angeles over the weekend to finish her new album with producers over there.
Writing on her blog, she said: “So, they let me in. Hello America, it’s nice to be back.
“Immigration was funny. They only kept me for an hour or so. I don’t think all the businessmen liked us very much, some pinkhaired weirdo… ha ha.”
Last night the singer and producer-friend Mark Ronson were spotted having dinner with his sister Samantha Ronson and her BFF Lindsay Lohan at Il Sole in West Hollywood.
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
