Johnny Depp not getting married this weekend after all

Johnny Depp’s spokesperson has denied rumours that the actor is planning to marry his longterm partner Vanessa Paradis this weekend.

Rumours of nuptials began to swirl this week after a combination of police activity, local gossip and the arrival of catering & event trucks suggested that Johnny and Vanessa were planning to marry at Sandra Bullock’s home near Savannah, Georgia.

A local source revealed: “Some store employees have signed confidentiality agreements and there are catering trucks and tent rental truck parked up, while I’m told police will be working as security at the mystery event.

“If it is not Depp, it’s someone big.”

Johnny’s spokesperson said yesterday: “There is no truth to these rumours.”

Johnny & Vanessa have been together for ten years and have two children together: nine year old daughter Lily-Rose and six year old son, Jack. The private pair have previously said they have no particular need to get married.
