Naomi CampbellNaomi Campbell’s spokesperson has denied the supermodel was falling over drunk when she was photographed collapsing into a friend’s arms during a night out recently.

The supermodel was spotted going limp while out with friends on the Italian island of Capri earlier this week and the friend staggered under the weight of the falling model.

Onlookers reported they and the group were leaving a nighclub around 3am on Wednesday morning when “we heard a little shriek and turned around”: “She was close to having a very embarrassing moment indeed, but managed to laugh it off though.”

But her spokesperson insists that it was a trust game, not a sign of cocktail over-indulgence: “It was just a bit of fun and not down to drink. Naomi was playing this trust game, where you fall into a friend’s arms.

“It’s very hot there, so that could also have had something to do with it too.”
