Madonna & Guy RitchieMadonna & Guy Ritchie are reportedly turned to their faith to help them heal the cracks in their marriage.

A source told the Daily Mail that the couple are attending joint counselling sessions at their local Kabbalah centre on Oxford Street in London: “They are having counselling, which everyone who goes to Kabbalah has. We call them teachings and Guy takes them very seriously, but for a while Madonna stopped going.

“Guy would go to meetings with the children on Friday nights, then Madonna would turn up for the dinner.

“For the past few weeks, though, she has been going for prayers. She and Guy have had joint blessings by her rabbi Eitan Yardeni who has been her teacher for many years.

“Guy has another teacher called Marcus Weston who has been really supportive. It really hasn’t been an easy time in the Ritchie household.”

Madonna is said to be preparing to take the couple’s three children on an extended trip to New York for the summer - but while some see the holiday as the final nail in the coffin for the marriage, a source told the News of the World that the couple think it may help in the long run, or at least protect the children for the duration.

The source explained: “Things are in a bad way. Rather than speak to her directly, Guy will ask their son Rocco to ask Madonna to pass the salt during dinner.

“There’s a growing tension and the children are finding it enormously difficult to deal with [and] of course both parents want to protect the little ones.”

Madonna’s spokesperson has denied there is any rift between the pair.
