Brad Pitt and Maddox Jolie-PittBrad Pitt has been voted our celebrity father of the year in our 2008 Father’s Day poll.

The Fight Club star gained 42% of the total votes (up to 8pm this evening) - but at one point in the proceedings, was in second place to David Beckham (31%).

Peter Andre, husband of glamour model Katie Price, came in third place for his devotion to the couple’s three children, including disabled son Harvey.

At the bottom end of the scale, Prive Las Vegas’ dad of the year Kevin Federline came second to last in our poll (with just 2% of the votes) and Papa Joe Simpson, the manager-dad of Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, managed to score just three votes (which equals just about 0%).
