amy winehouseAmy Winehouse has possibly “gone too far” down the troubled path to be able to pull her career and life back on track, according to the band behind the original version of Amy’s hit with Mark Ronson, ‘Valerie’.

Speaking at the Isle of Wight Festival last weekend, the Zutons’ frontman Dave McCabe told Virgin Radio: “I hope Amy sorts it out. But does she wanna sort it out? Because the way she’s being treated [by everyone] now, I think it may have gone too far.

“She’s like, ‘You know, I can’t even be bothered dealing with all this situation’. She might just like to be a husky singer in a shady club, which could be good as well.

“I hope she sorts it out. I hope she becomes happy, and if she’s happy now then fair enough.”
