Amy Winehouse hospitalised after collapse
Amy Winehouse has been hospitalised today after collapsing at her East London home.
Her spokesperson revealed that Amy was taken to the London Clinic in Marylebone after feeling unwell and requiring her manager’s assistant “to stop her from falling”. She was taken to hospital “as a precaution” but doctors have yet to confirm what caused her to faint and are likely to keep her under observation overnight.
The spokesperson added: “She’s fine. It was a brief thing and they took her in as a precaution.
“Her Dad drove her to a private hospital, but they’re unsure what caused it so aren’t taking any chances.”
Amy is said to have passed out while preparing to sign greet some Canadian fans who had been waiting on her doorstep all day.
