charlotte churchCharlotte Church has revealed that she and fiance Gavin Henson are expecting their second child - just nine months after she gave birth to their first child.

The couple welcomed daughter Ruby last September but revealed that Charlotte is four months pregnant yesterday.

A statement on Charlotte’s official website yesterday said: “The couple are thrilled, as are their immediate families.”

The Mirror also quotes her telling a friend: Me and Gavin want a big family and this second child will get us well on the way.

“The first labour wasn’t as bad as I expected and it is going to be well worth going through it again for a beautiful family.

“I’ve even stopped drinking and just want to concentrate on Ruby and my new child now.”

The 22 year old former party animal gave birth to Ruby in a birthing pool at her mum’s farmhouse home in St Bride’s Major in South Wales and last month joined the Welsh Assembly’s campaign to get women to breastfeed: “It’s cheaper, it’s clean, it’s the right temperature and everybody knows mother’s milk is best.

“It’s definitely a skill and is a bit alien at the start, but it’s such a completely natural process.”
