The Fall Out Boy star was the guest of honour at a belated 29th birthday party at his new Angels & Kings bar in the city on Tuesday night and after posing for pictures with the mum-to-be, he said he’s been preparing for fatherhood by “reading books and watching my dad”.

The newlywed couple’s first child is due in the autumn and regarding their living plans, he explained: “I think I would rather raise a family here [in Chicago] than LA.

“You go to your own coffee shop, you go to the dog park, it’s smaller and I appreciate it.”

He added that he’s been working hard to keen Ashlee happy has her baby bump grows: “Oh yeah, I do the whole nine [yards], anything to keep her comfortable - massages, the works.”
