Coleen wore the Marchesa gown for its once-in-a-lifetime outing at her wedding to Wayne Rooney earlier in the month and the couple are just reaching the end of the honeymoon in Las Vegas - but already the WAG turned TV presenter is making plans for the dress’s long-term storage.

A source told the Sun: “Coleen fell in love with her dress and wanted to preserve it properly.

“Marchesa will be helping her with it - it’s not the kind of dress you can just drop off at the dry cleaners.

“She had wondered what to do with it and decided she would love it to stay on show in their house.

“The dress symbolises everything she wanted from the wedding and she felt it would be best to have it around as a permanent memory instead of sticking it away in the loft.

“Roo already has a big trophy room [for his football medals and trophies] and the cabinet with the dress will fit in perfectly.”
