madonna and guy ritchieMadonna has reportedly had talks with top divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton over her possible split from husband Guy Ritchie.

The singer is said to be planning a trial separation from Guy this summer, followed by confirmation of their split after her new world tour finishes in November this year - but a source told the Mirror that she’s already been to speak to Shackleton, who represented Paul McCartney is in separation from Heather Mills and Prince Charles in his divorce from Princess Diana.

The source explained: “Madonna always seeks out the best in whatever field she is interested in at any given time [and] Fiona Shackleton is the best.

“Apparently Madonna was impressed by Fiona’s work for Paul and the way she handles herself in the public eye. She is a consummate professional.”

Madonna and Guy are not believed to have made any pre-nuptial agreements regarding Madonna’s estimated $900million fortune and the source added that consequently the star is looking for ways to minimise the potential payout.

But a source close to the couple insists that the marriage may not be completely over just yet: “They have told people it’s over and they are just waiting for the right time to announce it.

“But you never know with them. It’s just possible she is trying to call his bluff and jolt the marriage back to life.”
