pete wentz and ashlee simpson-wentzWhile Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz wait to expand their family with the arrival of their first child at the end of the year, they’ve expanded it in another way: with the adoption of a 10 week old puppy.

Pete and Ashlee welcomed Rigby into their home this week and the puppy is already their existing hound, Hemingway: “[She] pretty much follows Hem around.”

Hemingway acted as the couple’s ringbearer at their wedding last month and Pete also commissioned a life-size cake replica of the English bulldog to celebrate his 29th birthday at the start of this month.

Writing in his blog, he added: “Kinda weird to eat your dog. But I got past it.”
