Kate Moss still at loggerheads over performing with The Kills
It’s not Glastonbury without Kate Moss these days and even though the supermodel only stayed for one day of the three day festival, she still reportedly managed to make an impact.
Kate and boyfriend Jamie Hince arrived at the Somerset site on Friday ahead of Jamie’s band The Kills performance on Friday night - but after Jamie’s bandmate Alison Mosshart banned her from joining them on the stage, Kate is said to have dragged friends Kelly Osbourne and Beth Ditto into the backstage karaoke tent to hear her perform Right Said Fred’s ‘I’m Too Sexy’.
An onlooker told the Sunday Mirror: “She was looking Alison in the eye all the way through. Kate doesn’t do anything by accident and it soon became obvious what she was getting at.
“By the end no one was in any doubt about what she was trying to say.”
After a £3.50 full breakfast on Saturday morning though, Kate and Jamie packed up their excessive toilet roll supply and headed back to London.
Another source added: “She was there to support Jamie, not for the festival itself. She feels a bit ‘been there, done that’ and just wanted to get back to her life in London and daughter Lila.”
Kate repeatedly sung with ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty’s band Babyshambles but Mosshart is reportedly determined to keep the supermodel from joining The Kills on-stage to protect them from being known solely for Kate’s involvement.
