amy winehouse at glastonburyAmy Winehouse may have managed to get through two high profile performances in two days but her efforts weren’t enough to impress the Arctic Monkeys.

The band decided to hang out in the VIP compound away from the stage instead of watching Amy’s performance in protest about Amy’s current condition.

Guitarist Jamie Cook told the Mirror: “Amy is a fantastic talent but she shouldn’t be on stage when she’s in such a state.

“Only a week ago she was seriously ill and now she’s performing at gigs.

“She needs to take a break from performing and sort herself out.”

The band, who headlined the festival last year, did head up to the stage to watch Jay-Z, who followed Amy. Amy watched some of the gig too, from the VIP balcony with Jay-Z’s wife Beyonce Knowles, before heading back to hospital in London.
