kim cattrallKim Cattrall has reportedly already made it clear that if the Sex and the City crew return for another film, she’ll want a much bigger paycheck.

A source close to the actress told OK magazine that while sequel buzz is already starting to circulate: “No one has checked to see if Kim Cattrall is available or interested in a sequel.

“Kim is a smart woman and knows the part she has played in the success of the film. If they want to make a sequel, it’s foolish to think they can secure her for the same salary.”

But the source added that the rivalry between the women on the show may cause problems when it comes to negotiating that salary: “For Kim to be paid what she’s worth would mean Sarah Jessica Parker admitting how important Kim is to the movie’s success, and there is more chance of Carrie Bradshaw moving to Queens than of that happening!”

Kim, who plays cougar Samantha in the series, has previously admitted that she only agreed to the first big-screen adaptation, which was released in May, for the money.
