Nicole Kidman’s mum & dad to fly over for Tennessee birth
Nicole Kidman is reportedly still planning on involving her parents in the birth of her first child.
Nicole’s mum and dad, a former nurse and doctor respectively, are said to have helped out at the birth of Nicole’s niece, her sister Antonia’s fourth child, last year and Nicole is keen for them, and Antonia, to join her in the delivery room when she gives birth this summer.
A source explained: “The family are very close and think it’s important to be together at special times like these.
“Nicole was going to give birth in Sydney but now she and [husband Keith Urban] have decided to have the child in Tennessee, her parents are flying in to join them.”
Nicole is due to give birth later this month and has reserved a private room in a hospital close to the Nashville home she shares with her husband of two years.
As well as arranging her support team for the labour, she is said to have put together a music playlist to listen to during the run-up to the birth - including some of Keith’s songs but mostly made up of tracks by Irish flautist James Galway.
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
