Jackass star Steve-O is facing new legal troubles just a month after sorting out his last set.

The prankster has been accused of hitting a security guard at the launch of Paris Hilton’s clothing line at Kitson in Beverly Hills in August last year while filming a reality tv show.

When Steve-O was barred access to the event, doorman Roland Cano claims Steve-O’s former bodyguard “violently punched [his] head repeatedly, without provocation”. Cano claims Steve-O then bragged about it saying: “I just had my dude rip that security guard’s face … it was awesome … I just needed to see my security guard rough everyone the f**k up!”

Cano claims he has been suffering from “extreme and severe mental anguish and physical pain” since the incident and is now suing Steve-O, real name Stephen Glover, the security guard and the reality show’s producers for an unspecified amount.

Last month Steve-O accepted a plea bargain in his drug possession case which will see the charge dismissed if he says drug-free and out of trouble for the next 18 months.
