Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse is reportedly in complete denial that her husband Blake Fielder-Civil may remain in jail for more than a few weeks.

Last month Blake pleaded guilty to charges of GBH assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice and is due to be sentenced later this month. But even though the charges could result in considerably jail time, Amy is said to be adamant that he’ll be released straight-away because of the seven months he’s already spent in jail on remand.

A source told the Sun: “Amy’s in another world. She’s like a child in a woman’s body.

“She has it in her head there is no way Blake can stay inside after he is sentenced in two weeks.”

The source explained that after speaking about Blake’s imminent release at her Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Concert and Glastonbury at the weekend, the thought of his homecoming spurred her on to leave hospital: “She wanted to start sorting the house out for his return.

“It’s very sad. Nobody wants to end her hopes that he can come out and they can sort out their differences.

“But we think she’s in for a huge shock and no one knows how she will react.”
