lindsay lohanLindsay Lohan has reportedly stopped talking to her dad Michael Lohan again because he can’t stop talking to the media about her.

Lindsay was estranged from Michael for several years while he was in jail but the pair reconciled during Lindsay’s third stint in rehab late last year.

However a voice message said to be from Michael to Lindsay suggests that she’s cut him off again.

In the message, circulating on the internet, Michael is heard apologising after not being able to get in touch with his eldest daughter for over a week: “I’ve been trying to reach you for a week now.

“I know that you were annoyed that I gave an interview and my need to comment about the people you are around, and obviously you took offense to it.

“Honey, I’m sorry. I am telling you, I just love you. And I promise you, I absolutely promise you, I will not mention your name in the press, at all, ever again.

“I promise you, I’ll keep questions out of the press, when it comes to you. I promise. Just please, please, honey, call me or pick up the phone. You need to promise me.”

On Monday, Michael took a DNA test to assert whether or not he is the father of a 13 year old girl, Ashley, who her mum claims was conceived when Michael cheated on Lindsay’s mum Dina Lohan. If found to be the dad, Michael will be liable for child support payments, which may include back-dated payments to cover the child’s upbringing so far.

Lindsay celebrated her 22nd birthday yesterday with a prom-themed party at the Teddy’s lounge in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Lindsay wore a pink strapless micro-dress while her ‘date’ BFF Samantha Ronson wore a tuxedo shirt, bow tie and top hat.

Around 50 guests attended the party and serenaded the actress with a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ at midnight, before Sam took to the DJ booth for the next hour. The pair left together around 1:15am.
