The actress spoke on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show on Thursday, the morning after her prom-themed 22nd birthday party on Wednesday night. She explained that planning the event for her 100 guests - including her mum Dina Lohan and younger brother, as well as celebrity friends - was “very overwhelming, but you make the best of it.”

“There were people I forgot to invite so I had to invite them!”

But the event itself went perfectly and “everyone got along” and when a large birthday cake, featuring the infamous picture of Marilyn Monroe’s dress billowing up, was presented to the birthday girl at midnight, Lindsay explained she just had one birthday wish: “I just want to live a happy, healthy year and continue on the path I’ve been on and be with the person I care about and my family.”

Lindsay’s BFF and rumoured girlfriend Samantha Ronson accompanied Lindsay to the party and DJed for an hour after the presentation of the cake.
