Pete Wentz: I talk to our unborn baby all the time
Pete Wentz has said he’s reading up on what to expect during his wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s pregnancy - and acting on the book’s advice.
The Fall Out Boy star told People magazine: “I talk to [the baby] all the time. ‘The Expectant Father’ [by Armin Brott] tells you that the woman, when she speaks, the baby hears her all the time. And the father’s voice isn’t familiar unless you talk to it, so I talk to it all the time.”
“[The book also] tells you your partner’s moods month-by-month and week-by-week. It tells you why you’re feeling the way you are, how you can feel more involved in the pregnancy.”
He added that everything is “going well” and Ashlee is craving ice cream, pickles and green olives.
Ashlee and Pete finally confirmed the pregnancy after their wedding in May. The baby, rumoured to be a baby boy, is due in the autumn.
