Jessica Simpson warned not to retaliate to Pamela Anderson’s insults
Don’t expect a clever, calculated war of words between Pamela Anderson and Jessica Simpson: Jessica has reportedly been told not to retaliate after Pamela called her a “b*tch” and “wh*re” recently.
Animal welfare campaigner Pamela made the remarks on during an Australia radio interview after Jessica wore a slogan t-shirt, reading ‘Real girls eat meat’ and a source close to the Newlyweds star explained: “[Jessica] was deeply hurt and upset at the comments. To say [she] is mad about it is an understatement.
“She is disgusted at Pamela’s remarks and fully intended to go after her, until her family made her see sense.
“Her folks told her NOT to make a big deal of it – as that would only get Pamela the press she’s so desperate for.
“So Jessica is keeping quiet as she’s the one on the way up, while Pamela Anderson is on the way down.”

It was a bad idea for J.S. to wear the shirt but P.A.’s name calling debacle is as low class and thoughtless as could be imagined. Pam could have responded in a way that addressed the issue and her feelings about it without resorting to the kind of nastiness that really has made her look like a fool. I know she’s passionate about PETA but I do wonder if the outburst isn’t just a show of envy at Jessica’s beauty and youth - something she’s lost, for the most part, and is trying hard to keep.
