steve-oSteve-O has checked back into hospital as part of his ongoing efforts to beat drugs.

The Jackass star spent several weeks at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier in the year and has been drug-free since then but, he explained in a blog post over the weekend, that he’s checked back into “a mental institution” to help improve his psychological state.

He explained: “I did so much cocaine, ketamine, pcp, nitrous oxide, and all sorts of other drugs, that, quite simply, my brain is f**ked up.”

Last month Steve-O pleaded guilty to a felony level charge of cocaine possession and was ordered to attend a rehab programme for the next two years.
