matthew mcconaugheyMatthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves have reportedly sold the first pictures of their newborn son Levi for $3million - but a source told the New York Post that it wasn’t his publicist’s idea.

The couple agreed the deal with OK magazine but the source told Page Six that the magazine is considered downmarket compared to other tabloids: “His publicist, Alan Nierob, begged him not to work with [OK!] because he’s considered an A-lister.”

“But Matthew hired money man Todd Shemarya, who brokered the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie $4 million People deal.”

The deal, which included shots of Levi’s first Christmas as well as the forthcoming newborn photos, also gives OK first rights to the couple’s wedding picture if and when they marry - but they will have to pay extra to finalise the deal.
