Jennifer Garner and Violet AffleckJust weeks after rumours of a pending separation, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have reportedly told friends that they’re expecting their second child together.

A source told the National Enquirer: “A few days before the Fourth of July, Jen began calling close pals with the news that she was pregnant again. Jen said she’s three months along - and she and Ben are ‘ecstatic’.

“She and Ben are still deciding whether they’ll ask the sex of the child.”

The couple married in June 2005 after meeting on the set of their 2003 film Daredevil and welcomed daughter Violet into the world in December 2005.

Spokespeople for the stars declined to comment on the new rumours, saying they “don’t comment on the personal lives of our clients”.
