Nicole Kidman planning trips to Australia and UK with new daughter
It looks like Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s new daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban will be a well-travelled baby - in the next few months, she’s scheduled on multiple trips to Australia and a three-month stay in London.
Sunday Rose was born in a Nashville, Tennessee hospital on Monday morning and while Nicole’s sister and mum travelled from Sydney for the event, Keith’s mum Marienne was unable to leave her home in Queensland for the birth.
But she explained yesterday: “[Keith] called us and said the baby had arrived safely and everybody was really well, and we were totally thrilled. They were very proud. You could hear it in his voice - it was just great.
“I believe they may be coming back [to Australia] at the end of the month.”
The couple are then expected to return to their home in Nashville, before flying out to Sydney in September for the baby’s christening to be carried out by the priest who married them in June 2006.
Then the family is expected to fly to London for Nicole to film musical Nine opposite fellow Tom Cruise ex Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Kate Hudson, Daniel Day-Lewis and this year’s Best Actress Oscar winner Marion Cotillard.
An inside source explained: “The film begins shooting in October so Nicole will have to arrive in the capital ahead of that for rehearsals.
“The film’s production crew are busy arranging accommodation for everyone and Nicole has said Keith and Sunday will both be joining her, as well as a nanny and she’ll need room for her mum to visit as well.”
