Katie Price & Peter AndreKatie Price’s chat show with husband Peter Andre has been cancelled after just one series.

The couple signed a two-year, two-series golden handcuffs deal with ITV2 last year to make the show Katie And Peter: Unleashed but producers have decided against making the second series this autumn after it was criticised by viewers and guests alike. It was labelled “crude” and “ridiculous” after the couple discussed their personal and sex lives in between clumsily interviewing guests.

An inside source told the Sun: “It was always a risk. Jordan and Peter are an engaging couple and people like them but it soon became apparent that they are not chat show hosts.

“No one ever took it that seriously but we hoped it would be a flirty, cheeky show like Charlotte Church does or Lily Allen.

“They’re not too fussed. They know it wasn’t their finest hour.”

The source added though that the couple will return to TV screens later in the year anyway, with the next series of their fly-on-the-wall reality show.
